Yesterday’s primary in New Jersey’s 9th district is still not settled. Zina Spezakis and her team have been fighting to unseat Bill Pascrell and so far, only a handful of ballots have been counted, even today. Yet, the Board of Elections is reporting it could be a week or more before all ballots are counted.

The Covid-19 pandemic has had a massive impact on elections; we are STILL waiting on results in several New York races.

Elections this year are like none we’ve ever seen. Every campaign is doing all it can to reach as many voters as possible and inform them on new processes and ensure every vote is counted. 

In many states the establishment is throwing confusion into critical processes. This is protecting incumbents and creating barriers to the ballot box.

So far this cycle, four of our BNC candidates that are advancing to the general in November will face embedded Republican incumbents. It will take an army of volunteers, a massive support system, and strategic grassroots campaigns to win!
