Team — 95 members of Congress are calling out the aggressive and unlawful ways in which DACA recipients are being targeted in mass abductions.
In a letter sent to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), these 95 members of Congress demanded to know how many people protected under DACA have been abducted by immigration agents or deported.
This is exactly the kind of leadership we need right now.
As the letter states: "Given the scale of immigration enforcement operations and the lack of transparency... it is reasonable to believe that additional DACA recipients have been detained or deported."
This is what we've been documenting through our Immigrant Youth Abductions Tracker. Nearly 20 DACA recipients and dozens more immigrant youth have been abducted and detained this year. Despite active protections, our classmates, neighbors, and friends are being abducted and cruelly separated from their families.
These are not isolated incidents. They are glaring warning signs that the government is escalating its mass abduction agenda and going after DACA recipients to meet its quotas.
If they can come for someone with DACA, they can come for anyone. It's time to come together as a community to demand change. Will you contribute today to power our work advocating for the rights and dignity of all immigrants in the U.S.?

We cannot and will not stay silent.
