Let’s call this what it is: political retribution.
Donald Trump is targeting New York because he cannot stand that our state held him accountable. He is petty, vengeful, and determined to punish anyone who tells him “no.”
And Nicole Malliotakis? She will not stand up for us. She has made it clear that she bows to Trump every time. When he attacks our city, she stays silent. When he threatens our democracy, she cheers him on.
New Yorkers deserve a representative who will fight for them, not for a man who sees public office as a tool for revenge.
I grew up here. I taught in our schools. I know the strength and grit of this community. We do not back down from bullies.
