Dear
SPUC supporter,
Recently, we at SPUC issued a call to supporters in Scotland to visit Holyrood for a mass lobby of MSPs regarding MSP Liam McArthur's assisted suicide bill. In typical fashion, supporters came in significant numbers, but not a single MSP that they hoped to have a face-to-face meeting with, came down to engage them. In a special guest Viewpoint, SPUC's Margaret Akers, who helped organise the mass lobby, speaks about these events, and what it means for democracy in the UK in 2025.
In addition, I had the pleasure of interviewing Professor David Albert Jones immediately after he spoke to delegates at our National Conference in September. Please do watch - as the country's leading bioethicist, Professor Jones has a lot of good to say!
After watching and liking the video, if you haven't already, please subscribe to SPUCTV ([link removed]) and then share the video around!
