The Supreme Court just upheld a Trump administration order that allows employers to deny women access to birth control coverage under the Affordable Care Act.

John, we’re infuriated.

This morning, the Supreme Court upheld a Trump administration order that allows employers with religious or “moral” objections to deny women access to birth control coverage under the Affordable Care Act.

It’s estimated that up to 126,000 women will lose contraceptive coverage from their employers as a result of this ruling.1

Make no mistake, this ruling was made possible because of Brett Kavanaugh’s vote and is just the beginning of his attacks against reproductive rights. Today shows us just how crucial it is to remove Trump so that he can’t nominate another conservative judge to the Supreme Court.

Can you chip in right now to help fund our GOTV efforts leading up to November to oust Trump and protect the court?

Chip in now »

When Brett Kavanaugh was confirmed to the Supreme Court, we knew his vote would pose a significant threat to reproductive justice. Today proved that.

Trump and his Republican friends have made it clear that they will seize any opportunity to boost their bigoted agenda and deny the rights of women. From filling the courts with ultra-conservative judges, to taking advantage of a pandemic to shut down abortion clinics — they’re systematically taking away access to essential health care services.

We can’t emphasize enough how much permanent damage these actions will have if we don’t fight back hard and fast. We need to match the intensity of these attacks and leverage the full strength of this movement to defeat Trump and end his assault against reproductive rights. If just 1% of our base made calls for one hour, we could reach 3,600,000 women who could change the course of our nation’s history.

That’s why we’ve been hard at work building our GOTV program this election, including:

  • Calling sporadic voters in key swing states as part of the Turnout2020 campaign to help voters get mail-in ballots.
  • Training and equipping over 500 emerging leaders in 49 states to engage in COVID compliant Women2Women electoral work and build local teams to organize up to November and beyond as part of our Feminist Organizing School.
  • Unveiling a revised field strategy which will harness the energy of everyday women to finish what we started and pave the road towards an America that serves the many, not the few.

Together,
Women’s March
