The numbers don’t lie: health insurance costs are going to more than double next year if Congress fails to act.

That means Rhode Islanders will see their premiums skyrocket, making it even harder for families to afford care.

But instead of fixing the mess they created, Republicans in Congress went on vacation and let the government shut down. They control Congress, and they are letting this happen.

I refuse to stand by while working people are forced to pay the price for Washington’s dysfunction. I’m fighting to extend critical health care tax credits and keep insurance affordable, but I can’t do it alone.

This fight is about protecting working people, not giving billionaires another tax break. And with your support, I will keep fighting to make sure families can afford the care they need.
