The Democrats haven’t had much to celebrate recently.

But CNN is taking a victory lap after Democrats added TWO more House seats to their column by winning special elections in Virginia and Arizona!

CNN:
Democrats are doing better than ever in Trump-era special elections

“Democrats are over-performing in special elections more than they ever have in the Trump era — dating back to his first term.”

Believe me, I wish this was nothing more than Fake News…

But so far this year, the Democrats have overperformed in all of the House special elections by DOUBLE DIGIT margins!

The last time Democrats overperformed in special elections with margins anywhere close to these was during President Trump’s first two years in office.

They went on to FLIP over 40 House seats in the midterms!

And right now, the Democrats are actually doing BETTER than they were back then!

But there’s one important caveat to all of this: The Democrats aren’t winning special elections by these huge margins because they’re winning more votes.

Instead, they’re winning because thousands of Republican voters simply aren’t showing up to cast their ballots like they did last November.

I’ll be perfectly frank with you, Friend: The biggest threat to President Trump’s House majority isn’t from anything the Democrats can do. It’s from our own voters getting complacent and not turning out to vote.

And since we’re ONLY 1 SEAT over the bare minimum threshold to declare a Majority in the House, we truly have no room for error. Losing even a single seat could prove disastrous!

Given this troubling trend in special elections, I’ve been tasked with determining exactly who President Trump and I can count on to show up and vote in the midterms.
