Friend,

This last week in gun rights has been marked by MAJOR developments in FPC’s ongoing litigation to terminate bans on so-called “assault weapons!”

First, this week we fought hard during Oral Arguments in our AWB case, Cheeseman v. Platkin, which, in a big twist, could create a circuit split!

In case you’re not up on circuit splits, this is when courts fundamentally disagree on an issue. So, for example, a law could be held both Constitutional & Unconstitutional in different circuits.

Here’s where it gets exciting: A circuit split in Cheeseman could prompt the Supreme Court to weigh in on the issue of “assault weapon” bans, which would be EPIC!

Secondly, we are now less than 2 weeks away from the government’s response to our cert petition in FPC’s AWB case, Viramontes v. Cook County!

As you know, we’ve asked SCOTUS to intervene in that case, and now we’re expecting what could be a brutal attack on our case from the government.

That’s why we’re rushing to prepare and hopefully head off any of the government’s attempts to keep Viramontes away from the Supreme Court.

When you add it all up, you now have TWO immediate avenues for SCOTUS to potentially intervene in FPC “assault weapons” cases!

In addition to all that, we also FILED a major new lawsuit against California’s recently signed Glock Ban.

And if you want to help us push the issue of gun bans straight to SCOTUS, you can contribute directly to those efforts by donating here! <[link removed]>

If you give right now, you’ll even be entered to WIN a Springfield Armory Kuna with attachments as a thank you!
