That’s a photo of me and my son DJ.

The doctor told me he had 5 months left to live.

He was 6 years old at the time.

He’s 13 now – and he’s the most patriotic person I’ve ever met.

I may be a whole two feet taller than DJ, but I look up to him every single day.

DJ inspired me to run for Congress as a Republican.

But that’s not even half of our story.

My name is Theodis Daniel.

Seven years ago, if you had told me President Trump would one day be swearing in my son as an honorary member of the U.S. Secret Service, I would’ve never believed you.

It was around that time DJ was diagnosed with a rare form of brain and spinal cancer.

My world was crushed. As a single father, DJ was the shining light that made my life worth living.

We went through MONTHS of treatment together...

We did EVERYTHING the doctor told us to do...

But to this day, I know it was God

who saved my son.

Fast forward seven years, and DJ’s stronger than ever before.

His story INSPIRED millions, and even caught the attention of President Trump.

That’s when DJ’s biggest dream finally came true.

At President Trump’s joint address to Congress, DJ was sworn in as an honorary member of the U.S. Secret Service.

I remember DJ trying to keep a serious look on his face.

After all, he vowed to protect President Trump with his life.

But the irony is, it was

President Trump who gave DJ a

whole new reason to live.

That’s why I’m running for Congress.

The media wants you to believe President Trump is nothing but a “heartless, ruthless, dictator.”

But I saw first hand that he is a father, grandfather, and compassionate man.

He didn’t have to do that for DJ…

And he sure as hell didn’t have to leave his comfortable life as a New York billionaire to become one of the most lied about men in the world. 

But he did it because America deserves a fighter...

President Trump saw that

same fighter in DJ.

And today, I’m hoping you’ll

see that fighter in me.

D.C. politicians have worn out their welcome.

Democrat or Republican, they’ve gotten comfortable.

And when they are comfortable, they get lazy.

And when they get lazy, they get forgetful and disrespectful.

President Trump showed me and

my son RESPECT.

Now it’s time for somebody in Washington D.C. to show

YOU some respect too.

I will NEVER give up on this country.

I will NEVER surrender to the forces trying to bring us down.

And I will NEVER sell you down the river like all these crooked politicians do.

I don’t have a big political agenda to fill you in on. 

No “Ra-Ra” speech today.

I’m just asking you to chip in $5 to my campaign so I can fight for the country and fight for the President that has given me and my son so much to live for.
