Good morning! The air is crisp here, and the sun is shining, and the trees are turning colors. It's a delightful fall day, though this afternoon it will get into the high 70s (boooooo!)

Last week we had a wonderful visit with my mom and stepfather. Since we can't be with them for Thanksgiving, we decided to host a Thanksgiving dinner in October (and it fell on Canada's Thanksgiving weekend!) We had tons of delicious food, ate til we could hardly move, and then watched an old movie on a classic movie channel. We were sad to see them go, but they had to get home for some appointments.

Speaking of appointments, I had my pulmonology follow-up, and unfortunately, I'm still not cleared for much in the way of activity. I'm bummed about that, but hopefully my lungs get into better condition soon with all this rest. I sincerely wanted to start taking walks (short ones) but my daughter was in the doctor's office with me, so she knows I'm not allowed. (haha!)

Unfortunately, the doctor is right. I'm easily exhausted, and my oxygen levels plummet when I do very much. I'm glad that I can do household things like dishes and laundry, or I'd feel totally useless.

I love your comments on Haven Hill - please, keep them coming! And if you haven't read this week's installment you can find it here. Enjoy!

I'm sorry that this weekend's letter is so short - expect a longer one next weekend!

Stay safe.

Be happy.

Love,

Daisy
