California residents charged with hate crime after painting over BLM mural (but destroying monuments is ok?)

MARTINEZ, CA – Contra Costa County District Attorney Diana Becton has charged two Martinez residents with three misdemeanor counts, including a hate crime, after the pair were identified as the people who painted over a Black Lives Matter street mural in front of the Wakefield Taylor Courthouse.

Community residents had obtained a permit for the mural, and they painted it on July 4.  Shortly thereafter, Nicole Anderson and David Nelson were captured on video at the mural, with Anderson shown covering the letters “B” and “L” with black paint. Read More.

Ford Foundation donates millions to ‘Defund the Police’ movement

NEW YORK, NY- Ford Motors built America’s first police cruiser in 1950 and today the company holds roughly 65 percent of the market share for police cars. 

This past May in Detroit, Ford Motors unveiled its newest Police SUV, complete with technology that temporarily raises interior temperatures to help reduce “viral concentrations” inside the vehicle. Read More.
