John,

Elon Musk could soon become the world’s first trillionaire. Meanwhile,
billions of people are struggling to feed their families, survive climate
disasters, or afford basic healthcare.

But right now, we have a chance to make billionaires pay their fair share!

World leaders will soon meet at the G20 in South Africa and a global tax
on the ultra-rich could be on the agenda. It would raise BILLIONS for
disaster relief and anti-poverty programs – but the ultra-wealthy like
Musk, Trump and their allies could kill this world-changing proposal.

As host, South African President Cyril Ramaphosa decides which issues get
top billing so we have to double down on our campaigns now to make sure he
holds strong against corporate lobbyists.

If all of us chip in we could ramp up tactics like working with South
African influencers to create viral videos targeting Ramaphosa and other
G20 finance ministers, run a hard-hitting Times Square billboard so world
leaders can’t look away, and stage media-grabbing stunts to put this issue
on front pages around the world.

We have just weeks to pull this off. Can you chip in to finally make
billionaires pay?

A tiny 2% tax on the wealth of the richest billionaires could raise $250
billion every single year – enough to save lives, protect ecosystems, and
fund a just transition to a greener future.

Last year, Brazil introduced this very proposal at the G20, winning
support across Latin America and Africa. Now, with South Africa hosting,
the momentum is stronger than ever. Polls show overwhelming global
support!

The path to victory is clear: if Ramaphosa champions a global billionaire
tax, it could become the centerpiece of this year’s summit. And Ramaphosa
has already set the stage by launching a task force on wealth inequality.

This is our moment – but we need the resources to seize it. If each of us
chips in just a little, together we can run the bold, attention-grabbing
campaign needed to push Ramaphosa and the G20 to act. Then keep powering
the fight against billionaires destroying the planet.

Can you chip in today to make billionaires pay?

Your donation will help power Ekō and our campaigns worldwide fighting for
people and the planet.

The stakes couldn’t be higher. A billionaire tax isn’t just fair – it’s
practical, achievable, and popular. It’s a chance to make the richest pay
their fair share and fund the future we all deserve. But only if we act
now, before the G20 meets in South Africa.

Thanks for all that you do,
Allison and the Ekō team
