If you know me, friend, you know hiking is my favorite way to get outdoors.↘︎
And with an outdoors as great as Colorado's, there's no better place to do it when we have:
• 17,000-plus hiking trails
• 13 national parks and monuments
• 13 national forests and grasslands
• 58 fourteener peaks right here in our backyards
After years of meeting folks from all over our state on the trail, I'm so glad that other Coloradans care just as deeply as I do about protecting these majestic wild spaces for ourselves and for future generations.
But with so much at stake under the Trump Administration, I need your help to keep Colorado's outdoors great – so I'm counting on you to chip in to my campaign right away.

The problem is not just that President Trump and D.C. Republicans don't share our values – it's that their agenda poses an existential threat to Colorado's outdoors, our economy and our way of life.
Because after Trump gutted the already understaffed U.S. Forest Service and Bureau of Land Management in the spring, local nonprofits have had to fill the gaps – from clearing trees off roadways to cleaning bathrooms – at Colorado's national forest areas.
And remember when Republicans tried to sneak the sale of nearly 3.3 million acres of protected public lands into Trump’s “Big Beautiful Bill?” It was all so the Trump administration could auction off our land to fossil fuel companies and real estate developers to help pay for their tax giveaways to the ultra-wealthy.
Then just the other day, Trump used the shutdown as an excuse to target Colorado's energy transition by illegally axing over $600 MILLION for 38 clean energy projects and thousands of new jobs in our state.
But I believe it's our shared responsibility to build a brighter future for our state and the generations who inherit it from us.
So as governor, I will never waver in my commitment to protecting Colorado's great outdoors. And together, I know we can and will make Colorado lead the way in expanding protections for our natural spaces. Our kids and grandkids deserve nothing less.
But since I'm running a 100% grassroots-powered race, I can't make any of that happen without a tidal wave of support from folks like you – so please, will you help me keep up the fight for the future of Colorado's outdoor wonders by donating $5 or more today?

Thank you for all you do – happy trails,
