Unlike do-nothing Democrats who take campaign checks to look the other way, Justice Democrats are fighting back.

Justice Democrats

John,

Isn’t it outrageous that the CEOs of America’s largest companies make 290 TIMES MORE than their average workers?

Justice Democrats in Congress agree. That’s why Representative Rashida Tlaib joined Senator Bernie Sanders to reintroduce the Tax Excessive CEO Pay Act.

This bill would raise taxes on corporations that pay their executives more than 50 times more than their workers’ wages. Massive corporations would have to pay employees fairly, or face penalties for their greed — no more short-changing workers while CEOs hoard millions.

A post from Rep. Rashida Tlaib (@RashidaTlaib) on X reads: “Corporate greed is out of control. It’s time the corporations pay their fair share. #TaxtheRich.” Attached is a quote post from journalist Steve Neavling (@MCmuckraker), which reads: “U.S. Rep. @RashidaTlaib and Bernie Sanders introduce a bill to rein in what they call the ‘obscene salaries of America’s top executives.’”

Rashida is right: corporate greed is out of control. And unlike do-nothing Democrats who take campaign checks from corporations and super PACs to look the other way, Justice Democrats are fighting for legislation that would take power back from the billionaires and put it in the hands of working people.

But passing transformative legislation like this won’t happen overnight — it’ll take a powerful coalition that Congress can’t ignore. That’s what we’re building at Justice Democrats, but we need your help.

Will you add your name to demand that Congress pass the Tax Excessive CEO Pay Act? We need you on our side to build an economy that puts working people first.

Add Your Name

In solidarity,

Justice Democrats
