Republicans aren’t just trying to undermine our voting rights — they’re laying the groundwork to strip away the laws that give us those rights.

This isn’t a coincidence. It’s part of a coordinated strategy to control every lever of our democracy. From who can vote, to how votes are counted, to who oversees the process.

We can’t afford for this to happen. If they’re mobilizing to dismantle voting rights from the inside out, then we have to mobilize just as hard to protect them.

This is serious.

At hearings on Wednesday, the conservative-controlled Supreme Court showed strong support for gutting the Voting Rights Act of 1965, which was designed to protect people from being denied or restricted from voting based on race, color, or language.

This is part of a much bigger plan. Since taking control, Republicans have:

• Tried to kill mail-in voting
• Rammed through extreme gerrymandering
• Targeted election officials
• Undermined trust in our democracy at every turn

Now they’re coming for the very laws that our own John Lewis fought for during the Civil Rights movement — so it’s time for us to get into good trouble.

We’re not sitting back. We’re organizing across Georgia to protect voting rights for everyone, fight voter suppression, and hold the line for democracy. But we can’t do it alone.
