Hey, a new poll just dropped in the New Jersey Governor’s race. It’s not the news we hoped for:

🔴 Jack Ciattarelli: 44.3%

Listen, the absolute worst thing we can do is pretend the data doesn’t say what it says.

The facts are clear, folks: With less than three weeks to go, this race is incredibly competitive — with more than enough undecided voters to swing the outcome.

And you know what those voters are seeing on TV day after day? Millions of dollars’ worth of false ads from Jack Ciattarelli and his super PAC backers smearing Mikie. 

Our only path forward here is to accept what the data tell us — that this race is a toss-up — and spend every minute between now and Nov. 4 reaching out directly to every single voter. We can’t do that successfully without your help, team. Can we count on you to pitch in a few dollars before the weekend to power me and New Jersey Dems up and down the ballot to victory?

In a race this close, victory is going to come down to whichever side works harder in these final days.

And look, if we’re going to avert disaster and stop a far-right extremist who is blindly loyal to Donald Trump from becoming our next governor, we need to be the side that works harder.

If we do that, when the polls close 17 days from now, we will send a powerful message to Donald Trump that the people reject his incompetence and authoritarianism — and we’ll have earned this victory, team. So please, if you can, pitch in and help us get there.
