Friends,

What an incredible night on Wednesday! Thank you so much for joining us as we celebrated our 10th year anniversary. TheĀ passionĀ and commitment in the room were a powerful reminder of how far we’ve come—and how much further we can go. This anniversary isn't just a milestone; it's a launchpad.

A Night of Inspiring Voices

We were deeply honored to hostĀ Dr. Virginia Elizondo as our featured speaker. Her journey, including the historic victory in her Voting Rights Act case against SBISD, is a testament to what courage and sustained community organizing can achieve.Ā

We also extend our sincere gratitude to Council MemberĀ Joaquin Martinez for hisĀ support of our PAC and the vital role he plays in advocating for our shared values. And thank you to our endorsed candidateĀ Alejandra SalinasĀ (Houston City Council - At Large Position 4) for stopping by to share an updateĀ aboutĀ her campaign and the momentum building behind her campaign.

What You Can Do Now: The Path to Victory

We left that room motivated, and now it's time to translate that energy into action. We are facing a critical election, and we know our races often come down to the wire. Every vote—and every conversation—counts.

  1. VOTE Early and Bring 5 People With You.
    • Early voting starts on October 20th! The stakes are too high to wait. Please make a plan to vote as soon as early voting begins and commit to bringing five friends, neighbors, or family members with you. History has shown that special elections in this cityĀ can be decided by as little as 200 votes. You are the margin of victory.
  2. Follow the Fight for Fair Representation.
    • Dr. Elizondo’s court case is a historic win for representation in Spring Branch, but the matter is being appealed. Follow our partners at SOMOS Spring Branch as this case makes its way through the court system and as they prepare for the next SBISD Board elections in 2026.

      • Follow them on Instagram here.
  3. Invest in the Future.
    • In 2026, the PAC will need to financially support candidates and host events.Ā To ensure we have the resources to hit the ground running for the next election cycle and beyond, we need your help today. Every dollar is a direct investment in the candidates and the eventsĀ necessary to achieve our vision.
Donate Today

Thank you again for making our 10th anniversary celebration a success. We are prouder than ever of the work we have accomplished together, and we firmly believe the best for our community is still yet to come.

In Solidarity,

Latino Texas PAC
