I led Trump’s first impeachment. And served on the January 6 Committee. And in the Senate, I have worked vigorously to hold the administration accountable for its corrupt acts.
They apparently believe I am a formidable adversary, which is why he keeps calling for me to be prosecuted.
Before I dive into it, will you pitch in to help me stand up to his attacks and hold his feet to the fire?
In the last week, he attacked me on Truth Social for leading his first impeachment trial and said prosecutors should “look into” me.

Days later, he attacked me by name in a White House press conference, and said again that prosecutors should “look into” me.

“They have committed massive political crime. I hope they’re looking at Shifty Schiff. I hope they’re looking at all these people. I’m allowed to find out because in theory I’m the chief law enforcement officer. But I have a very good, talented group… I hope they’re looking at political crime because there’s never been so much political crime against a political opponent as what I had to go through.”
That’s right, “political crimes.” If that sounds like the language of a 20th-century dictator, that’s probably because it is.
Subtly has never been Trump’s strong suit. And John, it should come as no surprise that he’s ramping up his attacks on me — and the rule of law.
Trump is furious that I’ve gone after him and his administration.
Pam Bondi. Kash Patel. J.D. Vance. Trump himself.
I’ve spoken out against their corruption and their attempts to dismantle our democracy.
And they want to try to stop me and intimidate others.
But in the wake of actions against James Comey and Letitia James — immediately following Trump’s badgering of the Justice Department — we can’t just chalk this up to the ramblings of a mad man. We have to treat their threats seriously.
That’s where I need you, John. Can you pitch in to help me stand up to Trump’s ongoing attacks?
