So many people in my family are educators, and I taught in higher education for 10 years. We must work together to expand access to healthcare and prioritize our students' mental and physical well-being.
RFK Jr. and Linda McMahon claim to value our children’s health, but continue to dismantle the programs that support them. Since January, the Trump administration has cut $200 billion from programs like SNAP that ensure our children have nutritious meals, $1 billion in grants meant to expand students' access to mental health and support services, and they’ve cut $9.2 billion from K-12 education, low income students, and teacher training.
