John - we are continuing our winning streak!

This Thursday we won seven out of ten council by-elections, taking seats off the Conservatives, Labour, and the Greens.

🔶 Thanks to us, the Conservatives had a bad night in Surrey, as we gained a County Council seat from them, alongside two other wins. What remains of the Blue Wall is crumbling away!

🔶 Elsewhere in Surrey, we won three borough/district council seats - gaining one from the Greens and holding two others.

🔶 We also gained a seat in Preston from Labour, beating Reform to take it.

In true blue Tory areas, in Labour heartlands, and in places where Reform and the Greens are on the rise - it is the Liberal Democrats who are the big winners!

It’s clear - while Labour and the Conservatives falter, it is the Liberal Democrats inspiring voters with our positive vision for change - and the only ones able to hold off the ever-growing threat of Reform.

In May’s English local elections, we had our seventh set of gains in a row - our best ever winning streak at local elections, beating both the Conservatives and Labour at the same local elections for the first time ever.

And, just like this week, we’ve continued winning since!
