Today is the day we turn out at No Kings protests across the country to stand up for our democracy and our freedoms.

For months, Trump has been acting like a wannabe king, trying to silence free speech, abusing the Department of Justice to seek revenge on his political opponents, deploying the National Guard against Americans and engaging in unprecedented corruption to line his pockets and those of the billionaires surrounding him.

Trump thinks he can stop us from speaking up, making our voices heard, and rallying in the name of democracy. He thinks he can paint all who protest against him as violent and unpatriotic.

To that, we say hell no. We’re turning out today in numbers he and his many enablers can’t ignore. So if you haven’t signed up yet, click here to find the peaceful No Kings event nearest you.

And while Trump acts like a king, we’re not letting Trump and his cabinet of yes men lie about who we are.

Take a picture of yourself and your fellow democracy champions at your nearest No Kings rally and show us what real patriotism looks like. Respond to this email with your photo or tag us on your favorite social media platform, and we may repost you.

We won’t let Trump intimidate us into sitting on the sidelines. Grab a friend, an American flag if you have one, get your rally sign, and take a picture at a No Kings rally near you.
