The move follows public outrage over the death of a South Korean student, reportedly forced to work in a scam center in Cambodia. Cambodian Interior Ministry spokesperson Touch Sokhak said 64 South Koreans are set to be repatriated from Cambodia late Friday. Upon arrival, the returnees will face investigations to determine their involvement in the scams. Scam centers in Cambodia are estimated to have about 200,000 workers, including 1,000 South Koreans, according to South Korean officials.
