New voter registration across the country has taken a sharp decline as we continue to face the impacts of a global pandemic. Nationwide, about 700,000 people registered [[link removed]] to vote this January. In April, only 200,000 new voters registered. This shift is not something we can take lightly.

We started this year with record breaking new voter registration numbers as more Americans are energized to make their voices heard in November than before. When We All Vote has always been a ‘digital first’ organization but since March, we have transitioned our work on the ground to online only to keep folks safe and socially distanced.

But it means that our traditional opportunities to reach eligible new voters at community events, places of worship, schools, and more are no longer the norm. We have to use our resources to meet people where they are using digital ads, online voter resources, and online organizing to make sure our volunteers can effectively reach new voters from the comfort of their own homes.

And we need you to help us keep our efforts going. That’s why today we’re launching our Registered and Ready Fund to support our work over the next four months to boost new voter registrations across the country. Will you become a grassroots founding donor?
