This is a transformational moment in history, and African-American Women have been transformational leaders for centuries.

In a few weeks, Joe Biden will pick a running mate for Vice President, and right now there is a lot of energy and excitement for a Black Woman to be on the ticket.

Black Women are the bedrock of the Democratic Party, and it’s past time they are reflected in positions including President and Vice President.

We were honored to hear that Barbara Lee was highlighted in an article for the Washington Post as a potential VP pick. She is humbled by the support and continues to focus on protecting the Democratic House majority come November.

While Barbara Lee continues to fight for progressive change in Congress, there’s no better time to send a Black Woman Vice President to the White House.
