Donald Trump tried to send California's National Guard into Portland to
confront peaceful Americans on U.S. soil.

Friend,

Tomorrow, we take a stand right here in Sacramento.

Donald Trump and his allies think they can intimidate us into silence.

You’ve seen what’s happening.

The government is shut down. Health care is under attack. And the Trump
Administration is doing everything they can to tighten their grip instead of
earning our trust.

But that’s not who we are.

Here in Sacramento, we believe in something stronger. Community, compassion,
and the courage to stand up for each other weaves a tight-knit community fabric.

That’s why I’ll be speaking tomorrow at No Kings Day alongside neighbors,
workers, and community leaders who know that democracy belongs to the people.

Together, we’ll send a clear message. We will not be ruled by fear. We will
not be silenced. We will not let anyone put their thumb on the scale of our
democracy.

Because this is our community, our country, and our power.

Join us tomorrow at 10:00 AM on the West Steps of the State Capitol: 1315 10th
St, Sacramento, CA 95814.

Stand shoulder-to-shoulder with Sacramento.

Sincerely,

Doris
