I just published an op-ed in Newsday, urging Congress to come together, reopen the government, and stop massive health insurance hikes.

The government has been shut down for 17 days. Based on my conversations with Democrats and Republicans, most want to reopen the government and address the health care premiums that are set to spike on January 1, with notifications coming out on November 1.
