It has now been 28 days since Speaker Mike Johnson last had the House take a vote.

28 days of inaction while the government remains shut down and health-care costs keep climbing.

Instead of showing up to do their jobs, House Republicans have chosen to take a vacation while families, federal workers, and small businesses bear the consequences.

We can’t afford a Congress that walks away when the stakes are this high. Americans deserve leaders who show up and work to lower costs, reopen government, and put people over politics.

It’s never been more important for us to elect a majority focused on servicing the American people, not taking vacations.

It’s time to get back to work — now.
