Herbert,
Last week, the Uvalde community opened the doors to Legacy Elementary School , a new campus built with love, determination, and a promise that the 21 lives lost at Robb Elementary will never be forgotten.
At the ribbon-cutting ceremony, families, teachers, and local leaders paused for 21 seconds of silence, one for each child and teacher taken far too soon.
The new school stands as a testament to resilience, remembrance, and the power of coming together after tragedy.
That’s something we here at Stand With Parkland know all too well.
We are committed to advocating for practical public safety reform, focusing on the safety of our children and staff at school, as well as improving mental health support and promoting responsible firearms ownership. We understand that violence in our schools affects everyone, and we believe it’s time that we all come together to do something about it.
While new walls can help symbolize healing, we know that true safety for our nation’s children requires more than just rebuilding.
We’re working every day to turn heartbreak into progress by pushing for improved threat assessment systems, stronger mental health support, and comprehensive safety measures that protect every student and educator.
But we can’t do it without you, Herbert. So please, if you’re able, will you make a donation of any amount to help us continue to build from tragedy and keep America’s students safe? [[link removed]]
