Before I ever thought about running for office, I was a single mom living
paycheck to paycheck.

Balancing work and parenting was not easy. There were times I didn’t know
how we would make ends meet. Thankfully, programs like SNAP and Medicaid
were there for us when we needed them.

But Donald Trump and Republicans are gutting them, along with other vital
lifelines, making it even harder for working families to build a better
life.

Mexico needs a leader who understands what’s at stake and will fight
