Would you pick up the phone if I called, John?
This week, I made a few more phone calls to personally thank folks who’ve made grassroots donations to our campaign. I really love making these calls (and yes, I make them myself). I’ve had to convince a few people that it was not an A.I. call. One woman put me on speaker to talk with her family. One person told me she was a federal employee who had been furloughed. Another told me she loves her job as a school librarian. The list goes on! Since I enjoy it so much, I want to keep giving my supporters a ring.
All you have to do is use this link to donate any amount, then leave your name and phone number to join the list of folks I could call: https://secure.actblue.com/donate/Talk_With_Roy
Recently, I spoke with Barbara, Jim, and others about what their support means for us. I can tell you what I told them: We wouldn’t be able to do this without you.
I’m more grateful than I can say every time someone steps up to give, and while I can’t call to say thank you to every single one of our supporters, I hope to get a few more phone calls in soon.
There’s nothing that brings me more resolution — and enthusiasm — than talking with folks directly about this campaign and about our goals for this country. If you’d be interested in chatting, make a donation through the link below. Anything will count.

And don’t forget to leave your phone number!
My regards,
