Friend, I'm proud of Colorado for leading the way on LGBTQ+ rights.

In 2019, our state banned mental health professionals from practicing ineffective (and often, significantly harmful) conversion therapy with LGBTQ+ clients under 18 years of age.

But, friend, I'm seriously concerned that could soon change.

Last week, the Supreme Court heard arguments in a case that could overturn Colorado's law – and this isn't your typical Supreme Court.

In case after case, the majority has been all too eager to advance an ultraconservative political and cultural agenda at the expense of our democratic guardrails and civil rights.

And now, I fear their final ruling on this case could be detrimental for millions of LGBTQ+ kids in our state and nationwide.

So here in Colorado, we all must keep showing up, speaking out and refusing to settle for anything less than true equality and justice in our state. Will you please be the first of 20,000 supporters I need to sign my petition showing that Coloradans stand in solidarity with LGBTQ+ youth before 11:59 p.m. tonight?
