Hi John, it’s Jane Fonda.
You may know me as an actor — or as someone who’s been getting under the skin of powerful men in Washington for, oh, about fifty years. Turns out, not much has changed.
Take Speaker Mike Johnson, for example. He’s decided to delay the swearing-in of our endorsed climate champion, Adelita Grijalva — even though she won her special election more than three weeks ago. In a 40-point landslide, no less.
So what’s the holdup? You may have heard that there’s a looming vote in the House of Representatives to force the release of the Epstein files. And Adelita plans to be the decisive 218th signature to make that happen.
Apparently, that’s just too much truth for some folks in charge.
Let Mike Johnson play his games. We’ll do what we always do: organize, fight back, and build our grassroots power — the same way I’ve done my whole life when the powerful tried to shut me up.
This work starts right here, with people like you — people who truly know Adelita and understand exactly what’s at stake. Each day Mike Johnson continues to delay, Adelita’s team is working toward a goal of raising $10,000 to keep our momentum going as we fight to take back the House in 2026 and elect the next generation of bold, climate-fighting leaders across the country.
I just need you with us, John. Can I count on you to split a $10 contribution between Adelita Grijalva’s campaign and the Jane Fonda Climate PAC right now? [[link removed]]
In solidarity,
Jane Fonda
