John – Trump is taking action to deploy the National Guard in cities across the country.
This is not normal. This is a clear abuse of power, and we can’t let the Administration get away with this. Since the government shutdown, Trump and his allies have been taking authoritarian measures to cause pure chaos and distract from his unlawful actions.
We can’t sit back and watch this all happen. John, we live in a democracy, meaning our right to protest peacefully is lawful and protected.
Trump and his MAGA allies are pushing to deploy the national guard in major cities. Many of the mayors of these cities have outwardly rejected this. The presence of the national guard can increase tension and the risk to civilians.
The disruption felt by the national guard is just another step taken by the Administration to distract the American people. We must take this opportunity to stand up for democracy and show him that we won’t be divided. Let’s exercise our right to peaceful protest together.
