In 1776, the American people rose up in protest against King George and declared that we would never have a king again.
Tomorrow, America dons their finest yellows and rises up again, this time in protest of a would-be dictator in Donald Trump, in a nationwide No Kings march.
The Trump regime is beyond terrified at the prospect of a huge march in defiance of their authoritarian agenda. That’s why Trump and the Republican Party is working overtime to smear the marchers.
Just today, Speaker Mike Johnson said that “They are going to descend on our capital for their much anticipated so-called No Kings rally. We refer to it by the more accurate description, the ‘Hate America rally.’ I'm not sure how anybody can refute that. You are going to bring together the marxists, socialists, antifa advocates, anarchists, and the pro-Hamas wing of the far-left Democrat party.”
This is, of course, absolutely ridiculous — but very telling. They know that they have no room to stand on; they know they are deeply unpopular, and they know they are weaker than they make themselves out to be.
The best possible way to counter their ridiculous lies is to show the entire nation that we are peaceful and united in defense of our democracy, that we are the patriots standing up for the ideals our great nation was founded on, and that we only want what’s best for America.
