Big news: we’re officially closing down our Ottawa office and moving to a new address. 

But don’t worry — this isn’t a retreat. It’s a smart pivot to sharpen our impact.

When the party first launched, many of our staff were in Ottawa. That made a physical office make sense. 

But times change: today, only one staff member lives in Ottawa, and nearly everything we do is remote. We host in-person team meetings only a few times a year. The rest of the time, we’re building coast-to-coast from home, the road, Zoom, and grassroots events.

Yet we’ve been carrying the cost of a mostly empty office — over $40,000 per year. That’s donor money paying rent, utilities, cleaning, upkeep, and more. 

As we rebuild from the last election, we have to adapt. We must do more with less. We must prioritize impact over space.

So here’s the plan:

• We shut the lights at the old spot when our lease expires at the end of this year.
• We’re moving to a new address: 1 Rideau St, 7th Floor, Ottawa, ON K1N 8S7.
• Please update your records — that’s the new address for all mail, paperwork, and correspondence.
• We’ll use the new shared office space only when necessary for meetings and coordination.

With the old lease gone, there’s more room to deploy your donation where it really counts: on outreach, legal defense, advertising, field operations, and growing the next wave.
