This week brings two new terms into your conservative lexicon - "TransRepublicans" and "Carbon Dump".  Plus a couple of other stories.

Let's get into it.

"TRANSREPUBLICANS"

Oklahoma Freedom Caucus Chairman Shane Jett received a lot of attention on social media this week when he called his liberal Republican colleagues in the state legislature "TransRepublicans".  

If the shoe fits!  This is worth watching.

"CARBON DUMP"

Crony corporations are using government subsidies (i.e. your tax dollars) to build pipelines all across the country.  But these pipelines aren't carrying oil or gas, but the air you exhale--carbon dioxide.  

The scam includes using the force of government to take private property away from landowners through eminent domain, and then give it to these corporations to build the pipelines.  The pipelines then take the CO2 from certain places, like ethanol plants, and bury it in the ground elsewhere.  

Our South Dakota Freedom Caucus shut down this scam in their state.  The added benefit is that over a dozen liberal Republican lawmakers who supported the scheme were defeated in their primaries over this issue.

Now it's Louisiana's turn.  And your Louisiana Freedom Caucus is ready for the fight, claiming their state won't be used as a "carbon dump" for the Far Left's crazy desires.

The LA Freedom Caucus recently announced its support for the Governor's moratorium on CO2 pipelines, but stated its intention that the moratorium needs to go much further to include several things, like more transparency and a complete prohibition on eminent domain abuse.

ILLEGAL ALIENS ON MARYLAND VOTER ROLLS

Your average Republican state lawmaker, at best, will vote conservatively but do little else to advance the cause of freedom.  At worst, they conspire with Democrats to grow government.

What separates State Freedom Caucus members from these wayward Republicans?

State lawmakers are highly organized under the Freedom Caucus banner and they doggedly pursue their goal for limited government and more liberty.

Case in point: Most Republican state lawmakers in Maryland have ignored or given brief lip service to the fact that an illegal alien was found on the state's voter rolls.

But it was the Maryland Freedom Caucus that broke the story in the first place and are seeking accountability.  They teamed up with our close ally - the American Accountability Foundation--to demand answers from the Democrats who are in charge of elections in the state.

In a recent news report, AAF President Tom Jones said, "I guarantee that there are hundreds, if not thousands of illegal aliens registered to vote in Maryland."
