HEY.
You have state-wide Supreme Court retention elections this year. Three of Pennsylvania’s 5-2 liberal majority justices will face "retention" elections where voters are asked whether they'd like to keep incumbents for another term. Notably, the justices won't be identified with party labels on the ballots.
The three liberal justices on the ballot are: Christine Donohue, Kevin Dougherty, and David Wecht. Remember these names!
The Liberal court has voted in support of:
Jeff Yass, the conservative billionaire and richest man in Pennsylvania, has poured millions into this race to purposely confuse voters and lie about the justices. YIKES. You can dig in deeper here. Let’s make sure his tricks don’t work.
Early in-person voting has started in some counties across the state. To find your early voting information, please check your county details. You can also request an absentee ballot up until Tuesday, October 28.
There are also three really impactful actions you can take to help retain the three liberal supreme court justices:
On Election Day, our friends at OnePA are looking for Poll Greeters who can help educate voters in real time about the Supreme Court race. Sign up here if you’re interested! Our friends at P26 are also looking to recruit Poll Observers on Election Day for 20 campus precincts, you can sign up here. If you can’t volunteer on Election Day, we hope you’ll consider helping with ballot cure efforts.
