We’re approaching the deadline for NJ-11 high school seniors and college students to apply to my office for a nomination to a U.S. service academy.

Our application process for a service academy nomination is currently open and the deadline to submit your application is 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 23, 2025.

Please note: all supplemental materials (such as transcripts, standardized test scores, and letters of recommendation) must also be received by Thursday, October 23. If you intend to apply, you should apply as soon as possible.

The nomination application is open to rising high school seniors (graduating high school in Spring 2026) who are applying to the U.S. Naval Academy, U.S. Military Academy at West Point, the U.S. Air Force Academy, and the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, as well as college students looking to transfer into one of the academies. Students seeking an appointment to one of these institutions must receive a nomination in order to be appointed to attend. The U.S. Coast Guard Academy does not require a congressional nomination.
