it’s overwhelmingly clear that we can’t depend on the federal government to help us meet our basic needs.
Hi Team,
I know these past few weeks have felt heavy.
It’s easy to feel pulled in a dozen directions at once, and in moments like this, leaning on each other matters more than ever.
This community is what keeps me going, and it’s why I am reaching out personally.
Serving as your County Supervisor means standing up when Washington has turned its back on us. It means making sure our families, neighbors, and most vulnerable are not left behind.
I’m grateful every day for this community, for the way we show up for each other, and hopeful about what's ahead. Together.
With gratitude,
Supervisor Monica Montgomery Steppe
Born and raised in San Diego, Monica Montgomery Steppe is an HBCU graduate and an attorney by trade. Monica believes in her heart that the neighborhoods and community members are vibrant and worthy of care and investment. She is running for re-election to the Board of Supervisors, District Four.
