This LGBTQ+ History Month, we celebrate the courage, resilience, and contributions of the LGBTQ+ community — and recommit to protecting their rights and dignity.
As Maryland’s Attorney General, I’ve worked to ensure that every person can live openly and safely, without fear of discrimination:
✅ Protecting transgender rights – Challenging federal policies that restricted access to gender-affirming care and standing up for students and employees alike.
✅ Advancing civil rights – Expanding the Attorney General’s authority to pursue cases of employment, housing, and public accommodations discrimination.
✅ Defending inclusive policies – Filing amicus briefs and joining challenges to federal actions that threaten LGBTQ+ individuals’ access to healthcare, education, and public services.
Our work is far from over. LGBTQ+ Marylanders deserve an Attorney General who will keep using the law to defend their rights, challenge discrimination, and hold bad actors accountable.
