No one voted to destroy Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid. But Donald Trump has claimed the power to destroy the systems generations of Americans built single-handedly. He’s putting troops in the streets and terrorizing communities with masked ICE agents to make us afraid to rise up. We’re not deterred. The President may be acting like a King, but it’s the people’s job to remind him that America has No Kings.

Donald Trump is aiming to divide us. He’s declared war on workers by illegally union-busting in the federal government. He’s declared war on seniors by pushing to privatize Medicare, cutting $1 trillion from Medicaid, and dismantling the Social Security Administration. He’s put troops into our cities. It has to stop.

Social Security Works is a key organizing partner of the No Kings rallies, and we’re all scrambling to help shore up last minute logistics. From port-a-potties and bullet-proof glass to press outreach and signs, a lot goes into this. But this action is that important.
