Municipal Campus Project
The current Mendota Heights City Hall and Police Department facility, constructed in the 1980s, was built with a bold vision: to serve the people of Mendota Heights efficiently, safely, and with a strong sense of community. Today, the infrastructure needed to achieve this looks different as we have new challenges, new technology and new community needs that reflect the Mendota Heights of today and tomorrow.
The Mendota Heights City Council is developing a proposal for the construction of a municipal campus that builds on the legacy of City Hall while also addressing safety and security concerns. The project seeks to thoughtfully shape a modern, welcoming, and resilient hub of civic life, city operations, and community public safety.
Resident input will help to guide the vision for the future Municipal Campus. Join us for an Open House on October 28, from 3-6:30 p.m., to tour the building, learn more, ask questions, and share your thoughts on the project.

Message from the Chief: Spotting Scams
I know YOU know a scam when you see one, but we really need to educate our loved ones.
In Mendota Heights, Mendota, and Lilydale, in addition to the “we are the police and you have a warrant” scam and the “you got a popup message on your computer” scam we have seen an increase in scams that originate on Facebook messenger and end with the victim using a bitcoin ATM to send degenerate scammers large sums of money.
Please have discussions with your friends and family of all ages to make sure they know...

Students are encouraged to think creatively and write about what they would do if they were mayor for a day. The contest is a fun way to spark interest in local government and civic engagement at a young age. Selected winners will have their essays published and may receive special recognition from the League. It's a great opportunity for students to make their voices heard!
