Your position is a critical position in the agency. You will require constant exercise of complex technical and problematic judgment with outcomes affecting many federal agencies and virtually all state agencies, hundreds of governmental entities across the state, private non-profits, as well as the public. The programs acquire and reallocate over 35 million dollars of excess/surplus property annually. You will be overseeing statewide programs that acquire, reallocate, transport, warehouse, and dispose of State and Federal excess/surplus property, as well as managing 22 staff. Your decisions will have far reaching impact on all state agencies, governmental entities, private non-profits, and the public. Your constant and tactful interaction must be developed and maintained by this position and the organization it serves to support the agency's credibility and compliance position.
