Yesterday, Lauren Boebert released her fundraising numbers for the last quarter and the results were pathetic—only raising$110,000,a shockingly low amount for an incumbent and (former?) MAGA darling who used to frequently pull in seven figure hauls.
Right now she is being outraised by city councilmen, school board candidates, and county coroners.
Has she given up?
She doesn’t seem to love the job and spends most of her time in Congress doing anything but working—such as guarding the Capitol bathroom from transgender people, giving recon tours to January 6 insurrectionists, or even taking time away from D.C. to get kicked out of a Beetlejuice performance for “causing a scene.”
Her brand of white nationalist politics is so toxic even MAGA’s billionaire financiers are dropping her. Perhaps she has said the quiet part out loud too many times and is now a liability.
Either way, Boebert is toast and Trisha Calvarese is the Democrat to finally send her packing—we outraised her 5-1, with over $500,000 raised from over 23,000 individual donors and an average donation of $21 dollars.
Boebert is only in Congress because in 2022 she won by just 546 votes. In 2024, Trisha outperformed all other Democrats across the nation who challenged Republican incumbents, swinging the district more blue despite the headwinds of a red wave election. It resulted in Boebert underperforming Trump in every single precinct in CO-4.
