Washington has failed our military.

Due to the government shutdown, thousands of active-duty service members are working without pay, while politicians in Congress continue to receive their taxpayer-funded salaries. Shutting down our government at the expense of our servicemembers is not leadership, it's betrayal.

As a retired Air Force Lieutenant Colonel, I know the sacrifices our men and women in uniform make. In Congress, I will ensure that when they serve our country, Congress will take care of their families.

Right now, our nation's servicemembers are struggling to buy groceries, pay bills, and provide for their families, all because career politicians are playing partisan games instead of doing their jobs.

Our nation's servicemembers are serving our country without pay, because radical leftists in Congress believe YOU must pay for the healthcare of illegal immigrants!
