Today, I want to talk about my family. This will be a longer email, but I hope you’ll read to the end, and chip in to support my fight to defeat Ashley Moody and flip a critical U.S. Senate seat in Florida.

When my husband and I became parents, we took on second jobs as grocery delivery drivers, so we could afford our own.

It wasn’t easy, but it was worth it. I kept pushing forward because I knew one day I wanted to tell my daughter that she could do anything she put her mind to.

Then, when a MAGA extremist ran for school board in my daughter’s district, I knew I couldn’t sit back while teachers were being short-changed and our kids’ futures were being put in jeopardy.

I stood up. I ran for school board. And I won in a county where Democrats are outnumbered two-to-one.

Ashley Moody has never had to experience the struggle of living paycheck to paycheck or being a working mom running for political office. She was handed a U.S. Senate seat by Ron DeSantis & Donald Trump because she is a MAGA loyalist, who they can count on to not stick a toe out of line.

I am a proud Democrat because I know what it feels like to struggle, to be left out, to need someone in your corner. And because I believe our leaders should fight for working families like mine and yours.

That’s why I’m running now. Because Floridians deserve someone who will fight for working families, not the wealthy and well-connected, in the U.S. Senate.

Working people need a fighter in the Senate who understands the challenges of living paycheck to paycheck. And I am ready to be that fighter!
