A mother, educator, and lifelong Texan, Candace Valenzuela is a powerful voice for truth; I'm proud to support her campaign to represent Texas' 24th Congressional District.

When she was young, her family struggled financially; for a time, they were homeless. Despite that, Candace excelled and became the first in her family to graduate from college.

After becoming a mother, Candace was inspired to launch her first campaign for political office. In 2017, she ran for the school board and won, unseating an 18-year incumbent in the process.

Like all of our Truth to Power candidates, Candace is committed to accountability, justice, and reform. She has worked to make her school district more inclusive and welcoming to students of all backgrounds. She also championed expansions of STEM education, vocational training, and coding academies.

Just like Dana Balter, Jamaal Bowman, Mondaire Jones, and Ritchie Torres, we can help Candace Valenzuela win her primary. But, with less than a week left, time is running out.
