Port of Tacoma Commissioners on October 21 will consider authorizing removal of a derelict vessel in the Hylebos Waterway and receive an update from the Tacoma-Pierce County Economic Development Board. Martyn Adamson promoted to CIO
The Port of Tacoma promoted Martyn Adamson to Chief Information Officer, effective October 1. Adamson has worked in senior management roles since joining the Port in 2003. “Ports increasingly rely on modern technologies to remain competitive and serve our stakeholders. As CIO, my focus will be to execute IT strategies that ensure the Port of Tacoma and NWSA remain at the forefront of the Port industry,” he said. Read more ⇒

The public is invited to attend this special meeting of the Port of Tacoma Commissioners to review the Port's operating budget for the new fiscal year.
