ICE agents arrest WGN producer on her way to work, shove her to the ground and pull her pants down before throwing her into unmarked van and speeding off
Debbie Brockman, a producer at WGN in Chicago, was on her way to a local bus stop when she was attacked by jackbooted Border Patrol agents, who violently shoved her to the ground, handcuffed her, and exposed her buttocks before throwing her in an unmarked van and taking off, even smashing into a bystander's car in their haste to leave the scene of the crime. Brockman was later released without charge after being held for SEVEN HOURS, despite being accused of "throwing objects" at federal agents and "assault." Brad Thomson, one of her attorneys, said in a statement, "If armed, masked, federal agents are snatching US citizens off the street as they walk to work and throwing them in unmarked vehicles, you can only imagine what these agents must be willing to do to our immigrant neighbors and people who dare to speak out against them!" Brockman's abuse at the hands of lying ICE agents is a reminder that NONE OF US are safe from Trump's goons, and we must stand with our immigrant friends in solidarity against fascist violence!

ProPublica discovers ICE has detained or arrested 170 US citizens
The Trump administration doesn't bother keeping track of how many US citizens get thrown into the gulag, so ProPublica started tracking it for them — and they found that more than 170 Americans have been detained, some for days, without being able to contact their loved ones or a lawyer and often suffering abuse in custody. This includes TWENTY children, two of whom had cancer. Many of them had their Real IDs on them, which the ICE goons simply ignored in their obsessive drive to inflict wanton cruelty and get their Stephen Miller Brown People Quotas™ up. Americans have been dragged, tackled, beaten, tased, and shot by immigration agents. They've had their necks kneeled on. They've been held outside in the rain in their underwear. At least three citizens were pregnant when ICE thugs detained them. One of those women had already had the door of her home blown off while Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem watched. We're way past "first they came for..." They're coming for ALL of us, folks.

As Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif was nominating Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize — for the second time — during the Gaza "Peace Summit" in Egypt, a large anti-Israel demonstration organized in Pakistan by a religious extremist group normally aligned with the country’s powerful security services was met with a violent crackdown that left scores dead, possibly as many as a 1,000 people, protesting the normalization of relations with Israel. In a highly unusual move, Pakistan’s military-aligned media aired coverage of the violence, including an interview with a local man who claimed he saw more than 600 dead bodies. Such a claim would never be aired on that network without approval from the military, suggesting the establishment wanted to send a message to the people of Pakistan, without raising an international outcry.
