Thanks to the steadfast commitment of grassroots donors like you, we were able to strengthen our blue firewall of Democratic governors at a pivotal moment. Team, Democrats didn’t lose a single governors’ office, including keeping the crucial governorship in North Carolina blue. 

But now, with a GOP trifecta in Washington, the White House, Senate, and House of Representatives are under Republican control. That means Democratic governors are more important than ever. 

We’re fired up and already looking ahead to protect our blue firewall and flip crucial seats in the next elections. But as we get to work, we need to know:

There are a whopping 38 governors’ races on the ballot in 2025 and 2026, so we have no time to waste. We MUST start investing early to stay competitive, keep states from falling into the hands of GOP extremists, and elect Democratic governors like Tim Walz, Gavin Newsom, Gretchen Whitmer, and Josh Shapiro to be the last line of defense. 

That means we need to build a strong network of supporters before it’s too late – and according to our data, you're one of the most reliable Democrats in your area!

But I’ll be honest: It’s not going to be easy. Republicans are ready to do whatever it takes to support Donald Trump’s dangerous policies and elect their far-right extremist candidates to office – so we need to do everything we can when it comes to electing leaders who will stand up to them.

That’s why it’s absolutely critical that we confirm EARLY ON who’s ready to stand with our Democratic candidates in the fights to come. But I just checked your supporter record, and we still haven’t confirmed your commitment to electing Democratic governors in 2025!
